Lord Barry Michael Woldman was the beloved husband of

Lady Drema Lee Woldman, National President of Top Ladies of Distinc-
tion, Inc. He was the caring son of the late Samuel and Miriam Woldman,
born on January 27, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. As a child, he was very close
to his grandparents and spent many summers with them in Michigan City,
Indiana, one of his favorite places where he enjoyed spending time with his
                                            siblings and his cousins.
Upon graduating from Niles West High School, Lord Barry attended Wash-
ington University at St. Louis and graduated from the University of Illinois
where he was a charter member of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity. He received
his JD from DePaul University where he served on the Law Review. Upon
completion of law school, he worked for Karlin & Karlin Law Firm special-
izing in medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury. Later, he struck out on his own and formed his
own law firm and practiced law for many years. In his later years, he worked as a Vice President of a computer
company, and for the last 20 years, had his own successful business, BMW Enterprises, where he placed attorneys
at some of the top law firms in Chicago.
Lord Barry was a huge sports fan, especially football and basketball. He loved water and for many years was a reg-
ular runner along the lakefront. His father was a dentist so he was not allowed to eat many sweets as a child, so as
a result he loved cake and candy, especially ice cream. He was a people person who never met a stranger. He loved
telling stories, sometimes the same ones over and over. He loved telling the story about his career as a Jewel stock
boy and a dandelion picker. He loved his family and had many stories about growing up with his brothers. Family
was important to him. He enjoyed talking about the road trips to Florida that he took with his children. For years,
he generated a monthly bulletin that included everybody’s birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc. so that everyone
could keep in contact with each other. He was the glue that held the family together. He cherished family ties and
HE LOVED HIS GRANDCHILDREN. Barry departed this life on June 7, 2018, leaving behind a rich legacy of
love and caring. He will be remembered as a kind, loving, and supportive father, husband, brother, grandfather,
uncle and friend. He is no longer with us, but he will always be in our hearts. To cherish his memory, he leaves
behind his loving and devoted wife of 23 years, Drema Lee Woldman; his children Scott Alan (Rossana), Erika
Tracey (Adam) Hecht, Jonathan Brent, and Nichole Michelle (MacArthur); five grandchildren – Journee, Mia,
Maxwell, Sara and Jadyn; and his devoted brother, Dr. Richard (Beth) Woldman and his brother Donald (Tina)
