Top Ladies of Distinction Remembers…
Lady Hazel “Foxy” Dukes was a member of the Ladera Heights
Chapter. She was the chapter’s Chaplin, Literacy Chair and Sunshine Commit-
tee Co-Chair. Lady Hazel also served as the Area VI Literacy Chair. Her pass-
ing was the first for the Ladera Heights Chapter and leaves a monumental void
in the hearts of chapter members and all who had the pleasure of knowing her
in Area VI and nationally.
Lady Theonis K. Guyton was born on February 4, 1928. She passed
away on June 19, 2018. The Celebration of Life for Lady Theonis was held on
June 25, 2018 at Scruggs Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 3680
Cook Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of the Cardinal Chapter of
Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri. Lady Theomis was also a
member of Omega Rho of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. The Interment was
held at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
