National Campaign Guidelines
(Excerpt from TLOD Standard Operating Procedures Manual 2015, Page 27)

The National Nominating Committee shall deliver to the Election Committee the prepared official ballot.
Candidates, after being officially notified in writing by the National Nominating Committee of eligibility
status, may send ONE form of solicitation to the membership during the months of May or June.
Candidates shall be named in an official bulletin generated by the National Nominating Committee.
The official National Nominating Committee bulletin will be available electronically with notice to each
chapter thirty (30) days prior to Syn-Lod.
A campaign room, Candidate’s Nook, will be available one day before voting. Each candidate is
allowed space in the candidate’s nook to distribute materials, speak to the delegates, etc. The room
will be open only after the slate has been accepted by Syn-Lod delegates during the plenary session.
The “Nook” opening and closing times will be posted but must close at least one (1) hour before the
polls open.
