Plenary Session Two
Officers and Committee Chairs gave reports:
• Lady Jackie Pope talked about the "free" raffle that is being conducted again. This is where the chapters sell the
tickets, keep the money, and send the stubs to Lady Jackie. The prizes are:
1st place 55" TV
2nd place 2 night stay at any Marriott
3rd place tablet
4th place $250 gift card
Raffle tickets will be sent to the Area Director within the next week. If additional tickets are needed, please
inform your Area Director and she will contact Lady Pope who will provide instructions.
• Lady Brenda Dodd, Chairman of the Area Director's Council, reported on charters and gave the dates for the
Area Conferences:
Area I 3/1 – 3/4 - San Antonio, TX
Area II 4/12 – 4/15 – Wilmington, DE
Area III 3/8 – 3/11 – Oakbrook, IL
Area IV 3/15 – 3/18 - Birmingham, AL
Area V 4/5- 4/8 – Detroit, MI
Area VI 2/22 – 2/25 – Phoenix, AZ
• Lady Oteal Wyatt Gilmore, TTA 50th Anniversary Liaison, revved the crowd up for the 50th Anniversary of
Top Teens of America. She asked Ladies to get prepared to provide information about their former Teens. She
will be creating a Facebook page for the 50th Anniversary so that we can invite as many former Teens back as
possible. A logo will also be created so that we can start promoting the event early. We are looking for a former
Teen who has made it in his/her own right to be the Honorary Chairman. If you have any suggestions, please
contact the National President.
• An Invitation to P-TOP 2018 was given by the Fabulous Starlight Chapter of Las Vegas, Nevada! P-Top 2018
will be held at the Suncoast Hotel and Casino, September 27-30, 2018.
Fun Night - TLOD's Got Talent
You missed it if you did not attend this event. The food was great and the talent was extraordinary! We had three very
gracious Atlanta local celebrities who took time out of their busy schedules to hang with us as the Mistress of
Ceremonies and judges, along with our own Lady Kimberly Willis Green, Atlanta Peachtree Chapter President. The
celebrities were: Audrey Washington, News Reporter WSB-TV, Mistress of Ceremonies; Ms. Valerie Sommerville, Radio
Host/Producer; and Ms. Marissa Mitchell, Anchor/Multimedia Reporter Fox 5 Atlanta.
