The winners were:
1st Place - Lady Velda Hunter
2nd Place - Lady Sharon Penson
3rd Place - Teen Joshua Sam
In addition to the winning prizes, each Teen who participated received $100 each from the Anthony W. Hall, Jr. TTA

Next was the dance contest and Lady Shanita Baraka Akintonde was the 1st place winner.
The real "surprise" were the thugs that paid us a visit looking very scary and menacing in their "Thug Life" costuming.
They turned out to be Lady Anita Luster, National Presidents Council Chairman, and Lady Karen Dilligard, National
Presidents Council Co-Chairman who won 1st place for Best Costume!
Lady Dean was presented with an early birthday gift of $750 from the conference.  She was very surprised and happy.
The National President was presented with $1,980 for her Franchell Boswell Endowment Fund.  For once in her life, she
was speechless.  J
Fun was had by all and we thank all who participated in the evening.  Top Ladies, you are something else.  That is all I
will say.  J  We were blessed with an unexpected treat from former Teen Josef Sorrells who is now a junior at Morehouse
College.  I have always said that we should rename Top Teens of America and call them The Top Teens of America
Theological Seminary because we tend to recruit and grow ministers.  Teen Ambassador Josef was supposed to bring
parting words and boy, did he!  We had church, which was very befitting because we would not be able to make church
the next day.  If that was his first sermon, he gets an A+.  His sermon was excellent and we are so proud of him.
Thanks!
