2016 CROWN JEWEL AWARDS

The Lincoln Park Chicago Chapter’s 2016 Crown Jewel Awards Foundation Luncheon,
chaired by Lady Janie F. Cooper, was held on January 23, 2016. Our eight honorees
were Women in The Legal Profession (Cynthia Cobbs, Wynette Head, Carla Kupe-
Arion, Casandra Lewis, Donna Otis, Natasha Robinson, Valee Salone, and Kamilah
Parker). This annual Awards Luncheon is a wonderful opportunity to showcase women
who give back to our communities through their distinguished work connected with their
legal professions. Our guests enjoyed a heart healthy lunch and raffle drawings, all
while being entertained by Mr. Tyran Cox-Bey and Mr. Kevin Catchings.
Leaders in the Chapter were also acknowledged - the recipient of the Top Lady of the
Year Award was Lady Janie F. Cooper and Teen Autumn Smith-Moore was presented
the Lady Theresa Moses Bruce Award.
It was a truly wonderful and enchanting afternoon for eight truly amazing women.
