The Chapter is one of the favorites that run the apparel retail stores at the Washington
Redskins (FedEx Field) Stadium. The Chapter was again notified that because of its
exceptional support and professionalism, it would again operate a store on the club level
this year. The Chapter is ready to get the season started with its first regular season home
game on September 10, 2017, at 1:00pm.

Organizations normally take several years to obtain a store on the club level. The Southern
Maryland Chapter in partnership with Maingate, Inc. operates a retail store that sells
Washington Redskins paraphernalia, game day programs, souvenir game buttons, etc. at
all home games. Stores on the club level are the highest earning revenue locations, which
means that the Chapter has the potential to double its earnings from past years.

Operating a store allows the Chapter to occasionally meet the Washington Redskins
players and the team’s management, develop meaningful Partnerships and relationships
with fans, and provide the Chapter’s Top Teens an opportunity to get retail and sales
experience, which they can list on their resumes. The Teens are awarded service points
for the time they spend working in the store. The Lords are also a very significant part of
the overall operations plan and have devoted hundreds of hours to support this effort. This
is the major fundraiser for the Chapter to raise scholarship funds for its graduating Top
Teens’ scholarships. This year, the past Area II Director, Lady Helena Dodson, and Lord
Daryl Dodson will assist the team in operating the store during a game to see what it’s like!

The Chapter has set a goal of $12,000 in revenue for the year.

Congratulations Southern Maryland for continuing the TLOD and
                               TTA spirit of excellence!
