The Top Teens continue to be
recognized as one of the top

fundraisers in the D.C. area for
March of Dimes. The Teens

have raised more than $20,000
for March of Dimes in the last

nine years by participating in
the annual March for Babies

and by wearing purple in honor
of the organization’s World

Prematurity Day. In October

All of the chapter’s community service achievements have led to

awards within TLOD. For two consecutive Area II Conferences, the
chapter walked away with the Area II Top Lady of the Year award:

Chapter Organizer Lady Jacqueline Wilcher won the prize in 2014,
and TTA Advisor Lady Katina Robinson-Wright continued the

winning streak in 2016. The chapter’s Top Teens didn’t walk away
empty-handed either, winning Area II’s Top Teen award two years in

a row as well. Teen Zoe Hayes was the winner in 2016, and Teen
Chase Powell took top prize in 2017.

At both the 2016 and 2017 Top Teen in 2016.
Area II Conferences, the Prince
George’s County Chapter sent the biggest contingent of

Top Ladies and Top Teens. At the 2016 Area Conference
in Wilmington, Delaware, the Prince George’s County

Chapter tied with the Hampton Roads Chapter to receive
the Director’s Choice Award, and the chapter received

third place in the Willie Lee Glass Outstanding Program
of Work Award. The chapter also won third place for the

Lady Katina Robinson-Wright, George Presswood Nelson Outstanding TTA Program. In
the chapter’s TTA advisor was 2017, the chapter continued its award-winning streak by
Area II’s Top Lady of the Year in
2016. Teen Chase Powell won taking honorable mention for the Willie Lee Glass
Area II’s Top Teen Award this Outstanding Program of Work award in 2017.
