Chapter won the Ruth Payne Smith Speakers Tournament, and Teen Gabriella
Segears of Dale City – Prince William Chapter took 1st place in the Area II Spelling
Bee. Dale City – Prince William Chapter also won the George Presswood Nelson
Outstanding TTA Program of Work
Award.
Of course, the Ladies and Teens
couldn’t go home without honoring
their Area II Director, who has
delivered four years of
“awesomeness” for Area II. Area II
made sure to shower Lady Helena
with gifts and proclamations as she
prepares to leave office. Area II also
approved a resolution thanking Lady
TLOD National President Lady Drema Lee Woldman Helena for her philosophy of
presents gifts to National Area II Director Lady
Helena L. Dodson at the Area II Conference in “making excellence a habit.” Lady
Virginia Beach. Virginia.. Helena also received a certificate of
appreciation from TLOD for the type
of act of kindness that she encourages her Top Ladies and Top Teens to make.
As “Awesome Area II” prepares to enter its next phase, its Ladies, Teens and
Lords look forward to continuing to lead and serve its communities with
enthusiasm, energy and excitement!
