Induction and Local Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs Event

On Saturday, February 18, Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.
Baytown Chapter had an extended day as they hosted four new
inductees at a morning ceremony and welcomed and honored
current and legacy business owners.

First on the agenda was an induction ceremony for the Baytown
Chapter and Beaumont chapter held at JD Walker center. Lady
Harnell Williams, Area 1 Director presided over the ritualistic
ceremony that culminated with gifts, photos and refreshments.

(honorees), Teen Jasmine Smith are ecstatic to have these ladies join us and we look forward to

a long and productive relationship with all of them. We are a 501C3 non-profit service and humanitarian

organization and have been organized for almost 30 years in the Baytown area. If there is an interest in

Later in the day at 7pm, Top Ladies of foundation and legacies that have been created.
Distinction, hosted their second annual event There were two categories for recognition:
that recognized business leaders and “Stars” for present and active business owners
entrepreneurs. One year ago in February, and “Legacy” for antiquity business owners. A
coinciding with Black History Month, ladies total of 34 people were recognized with dinner
only were recognized for their business acumen and an inscribed plaque from the Baytown
and entrepreneurial spirits. This year’s event Chapter of TLOD. Top Teens of America
also included African American men. Special assisted the Ladies in ensuring the evening was
honors were given to several of the early seamless by hosting, escorting honorees, and
pioneers of the McNair community for the servers.

Lady Cheryl Cole stated that it is important that we share the
history of our people with our Teens at home in addition to
what is learned from the books we read. We would not be
standing here if we had not stood on the shoulders of
someone (s), stated the Chapter president. The purpose of
this program was to recognize and share the greatness of our
community leaders and also motivate and inspire our young
folk to greatness. God blesses us to be a blessing and it is
hoped that each year the event will continue to grow.
