Reading and Writing Part 5 7 Questions

Look at the picture and read the story. Write some words to complete the sentences about
the story. You can use 1, 2, 3 or 4 words.

Fred and Victoria are best friends and they love spending time together when they aren’t

at school. Victoria likes to listen to pop music, and Fred is learning to play the guitar so he
can play Victoria’s favourite songs with her. One day, the children were reading a magazine
when they saw an advert for a local concert.

“Wow, look at this, Fred!” said Victoria, “there’s a concert at the city park next Friday night!”

“It starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm - how much are the tickets?” asked Fred.

“The tickets only cost 5 pounds which is very cheap,” Victoria replied.

So, the children bought their tickets and went to the concert at the park on Friday night.

There were lots of people of all ages - babies, children, parents and grandparents, too! They
sat on a blanket and watched lots of different bands play popular songs and Victoria and
Fred sang all the words.
