It was a hot day, but the sun was hiding behind the clouds so James
didn’t put any sun cream on his face because he didn’t think he would get
sunburn. The mountain was tall so it was difficult to climb, but the children
loved using their maps to guide them and in the end, they all ran down to
the bottom.
At the end of the trip, Mr Street looked at James and said, “Oh, James! You
must wear sun cream next time, even if it isn’t sunny!” James had burnt his
face and he was very red.
“Sorry, Mr. Street,” said James, “Next time I’ll put sun cream on to protect
my face from the sun.”
