Look at the picture and read the story. Write some words to complete the

sentences about the story. You can use 1, 2, 3 or 4 words.

This year, James has a new P.E. teacher at school called Mr Street. James

thinks his classes are really fun and the children always do fun activities.

At the moment, the class are studying maps and directions in P.E. class,

and what they need to do if they get lost.

So, Mr Street took James and his classmates to a mountain that was close

to their school. They woke up early on a Saturday morning and prepared

their rucksacks - everyone took a compass, a torch, suncream, some

sandwiches, a piece of fruit and a bottle of water in case they got hungry

or thirsty when they were in the mountains.
