Today was my first day in a new school. I woke
up and I felt very excited but also a bit scared.
I got dressed in my new uniform. Then I went
downstairs to have breakfast with my family. My
mum prepared my favourite breakfast: pancakes!

Me and my brother went to school 1 car. When I arrived,
I saw a lot of new faces. Everybody was ready at the door and carrying
their backpacks. I didn’t know anyone but I knew I would make lots of
friends!
A very kind teacher, Mr Brown, helped me to find my classroom. When I
arrived, everybody was talking and walking around. A girl called Emma
smiled at me. She asked 2 to sit with her and I felt a bit

better.
During the day, we did lots of fun activities! We played games, learnt
about each other and met new teachers. I wasn’t nervous anymore and I
