Safety branch inspections not conducted as per monthly target during
April & May due to Covid’19 pandemic and MHA guidelines However,
counselling of safety category staff was being done on phones. Now
safety inspections are being conducted at stations, LC gates and other
activity centres due to relaxation of Covid norms.

a. STEPS TAKEN FOR PREVENTION OF SPAD:
• Carrying out Foot plate inspections by Safety Dept and Divisional Officers
to check the driving practices of LP/ALPs.
• Dos & Don’ts to avoid SPAD incidents exhibited through posters at all
lobbies & Running Rooms.
• Directions issued:
• For LPs to acknowledge VCD, instead of both by LP/ALP.
