2.4 Air conditioning of Running Room(Make shift) at TDU:
 Due to shortage of beds for crew resting at TDU,
Quarter No.1/1 is being utilized as Running room. Air-
conditioning, lighting & power supply arrangements
works were done in order to improve the quality of
rest to crew halting at this running room.

2.5 Reduction of CMD for Existing HT Connection at HYB:
 CMD has been reduced from 750 kVA to 520 kVA atHT Service connection HDC-
001 feeding the Hyderabad station, IOH shed & staff quarters to avoid excess

fixed charges. Savings of about Rs. 10.9 lakh/Annum can be achieved by
reducing CMD.

2.6 Safety Week from 3 to 10 May

 Safety week was observed in the first week of May to reiterate the importance of
safety while working. Safety Seminars have been conducted all over the division

at various depots & sub-depots to create awareness about safety. Staff have
been educated and demonstrated to follow Electrical safety precautions while
working on OH lines &other electrical equipment.
