in her grave right now and rightfully so.
As we reached the landing, I was about to turn and
run, then he called out, “Aroha.”A young woman
appeared from a room at the back of the entry hall.
The professor announced, “We will be having a
guest for the night; so set out another plate for dinner.”
I was relieved, especially when we reached the top
of the stairs and I saw my room. It was an elegantly
decorated bedroom complete with canopy bed.
It had its own bathroom and I was in heaven and
ready for an awesome night’s sleep. But before I could
do that, I went to the kitchen to meet Aroha and see if
