As the day wore on, I began to get a bit weary and
stopped at a service station to inquire about a hotel or
homestay. The station attendant didn’t live locally and
was not familiar with any place to stay in the area so he
was unable to help.

As I ventured further down the road, it began to
rain lightly. Glancing to my left there it was - a faint
rainbow.

I thought about the last one that led me to a
terrifying first night on a mountain. But hey, I did meet
the caretaker Tama and his beautiful wife Rangi so …
what would I have to lose.
