Nearly 160 years ago, English social reformer Florence Nightingale opened the door
to modern nursing, bringing hope, healing and comfort to the sick and fallen. Today,
the high standards of care she pioneered live on amongst the compassionate and
caring nursing staff of Holy Cross Hospital. And while we couldn’t be more proud
of our own angels of mercy, today we honor all of the devoted individuals – the
physicians, administrators, therapists, engineers, food service workers, volunteers
and countless others – for making a difference in the lives of so many.
