       Republic  Day  Parade  2024.  PM  Modi  calls

       India’s strength and diversity'


       "Aavaahan" took center stage at Kartavya Path on Friday as India celebrated its 75th Republic Day.
       Dignitaries, including French President Macron, the chief guest, President Murmu, and Prime Minister
       Narendra Modi, witnessed the event, featuring tableaux representing states, Union Territories, and various
       ministries. The parade's dual themes, 'Visit Bharat' (developed India) and 'Bharat — Loktantra Ki Matruka'
       (India — the mother of democracy), were showcased. Notable entries included tableaux of Ayodhya’s Ram
       Mandir  and  ISRO’s  Chandrayaan-3  spacecraft,  along  with  a  march  past  celebrating  'nari  shakti.'
       Additionally, four Mi-17 IV helicopters from the 105 Helicopter Unit showered flower petals on the audience
       at Kartavya Path. The Republic Day Parade commenced at 10:30 AM from Vijay Chowk to Kartavya Path.
       On  the  occasion,  the  national  capital  witnessed  an  extensive  security  deployment,  with  over  70,000
       personnel deployed across the city. Of these, 14,000 personnel were stationed at and around Kartavya
       Path to ensure the security of the Republic Day parade.
       During the 75th Republic Day parade, Indian Air Force pilots captivated the spectators with their acrobatics.
       The sky above Kartavya Path transformed into a zone of fervent activity as 54 aircraft, including three from
       the French Air and Space Force, performed a grand flypast salute during the ceremony in New Delhi on
       Friday.
