G 20 Summit, New Delhi
India is set to host the G20 Summit in 2023, with participation
from 20 countries for a series of forward-looking discussions.
The Presidency of the G20 Group was assumed by India on
December 1, 2022, following the previous summit in Bali,
Indonesia. As host nation, India will welcome delegates from
20 nations for a crucial meeting scheduled on September 9
and 10, 2023, at the Pragati Maidan.
Numerous preparatory meetings have been taking place,
with the most recent being the 4th Sherpa Meeting held on
September 3-6, 2023. The G20 Summit 2023 Ministers
Meeting is on the horizon and will be held on September 9
and 10, 2023, at the Bharat Mandapam International
Exhibition-com Convention Centre (IECC).
9 New Vande Bharat Express Flagged Off
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off nine Vande Bharat Express trains via video conferencing on
September 24. These nine trains are set to improve the connections across 11 states in the country.

3. Hyderabad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express

Na on’s First Green Hydrogen-Powered Bus
India's top oil firm (IOC) on September 25 unveiled the nation's first green
hydrogen-powered bus that emits just water as it takes the lead in bringing
out unrivaled tools to replace fossil fuels.
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will produce close to 75 kg of hydrogen by
splitting water using electricity from renewable sources. This hydrogen will
be used to power two buses which will ply across the national capital region
for trial runs.
Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, flagging off the buses, said hydrogen will
be India's transition fuel for moving away from fossil fuels.
