      Nepal earthquake: More than 150 killed in remote

      western Nepal


      On  November  3rd,  a  magnitude  5.6  earthquake,
      occurring at a depth of 17.9 km, shook Nepal, with its
      epicenter located in Jajarkot of the Karnali province.
      Numerous aftershocks have been reported since the
      initial quake, and the tremors were felt as far as North
      India.  According  to  the  National  Disaster  Risk
      Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), the
      disaster has claimed the lives of 140 individuals and left
      140 others injured.

      As winter descends upon the Delhi National Capital Region
      (NCR), residents are once again grappling with a persistent
      and  severe  air  pollution  crisis. A  combination  of  factors,
      including  stubble  burning,  industrial  emissions,  and
      unfavorable  weather  conditions,  has  led  to  hazardous
      levels of particulate matter in the air. Authorities are urging
      residents to prioritize their health by wearing masks and
      minimizing outdoor activities. The government is actively
      implementing measures to address the issue, but the battle
      to improve air quality remains a critical and ongoing concern
      for the region.
      Maxwell records highest individual score in a


      run chase, slams double century


      Glenn Maxwell hit an unbeaten 201 during Australia’s World Cup 2023
      match against Afghanistan in Mumbai to register the highest individual
      score in a run chase in One-Day Internationals.
      The innings was also the first double century by an Australian batter
      and helped the side beat Afghanistan by three wickets and advance to
      the semifinals. With it, Maxwell became just the third batter to score a
      double ton in a World Cup.
