The story of the helpful woodpecker reminds us that when someone helps us in times
of need, we should always show gratitude and be willing to help them in return. Being
thankful and kind to others strengthens our friendships and makes the world a better
place.
Once upon a time, in a jungle,
there lived a mighty lion. He was
having a peaceful meal when
suddenly, a bone got stuck in
his throat. The lion roared in
pain and tried everything to
get it out.
In the same jungle,
there was a clever
woodpecker who heard the
lion's cries. Curious and
concerned, the woodpecker
approached the lion.
"What's troubling you, dear
lion?" he asked.
The lion explained his dilemma and begged the woodpecker to help him.
The woodpecker wanted to assist but was worried about becoming the lion's
meal.
