Assemble a mobile phone orchestra. In contrast to typical
concert performances, the audience would be asked to
ensure that all mobile phones be switched on during the
performance. The audience would enter their phone
numbers on arrival and musical elements would be sent
to each phone as ringtones. The performer on stage would
then play a modified keyboard that would place calls to

the audience to create an electronic symphony.

Develop a software programme that, in conjunction with
a domestic scanner, could recognise leaf shapes from
thousands of common plants. The software would be
packaged with an encyclopaedia of plants on the web
allowing users to identify the plant and view
instructions for its care. The software could be used by
new homeowners to identify plants in their gardens but

returning from country walks. A handheld scanner could
be developed to scan leaves without their removal.
