Editor’s note:
Not that we would
want to inspire a
culture of paranoia in
the nation’s under-5s.
As in, ‘Mummy, I think
my Fischer-Price
telephone has been
201tapped.’
Design teddy bears that could record a toddler’s
speech. The Diary Bear would ask a child a series of
questions about their day; how they feel or their
favourite things. Responses would be recorded as
digital audio files and date stamped to provide a private
record of a child’s development.

Editor’s note:
Alternatively, a cereal
box might hold one
supersized modelled
chunk of cereal and a
202toyhammer.
Launch a breakfast cereal for children called
‘Smithereens’. The packaging would show an image of a
physical object such as a car or a boat exploding toward
the customer. The packs would contain bite-sized
wreckage, complete with recognisable elements such
as seats or a steering wheel, for example.
