Design an ultra-light aluminium pilot to ride ahead of
trains. A chip in the front end of the train would control
the speed of the pilot such that the distance between
train and pilot carrier would be equal to the distance the
train needs to break. If anything should happen to the
pilot or the wireless signal between the pilot and train,
the train would automatically break and stop just before
innovation. colliding with the cause of the problem. Head-on
collisions would be averted if both trains were fitted
with the device.

Develop a method of printing T-shirts such that the
designs fade or wash away over a specific period of
time. These transient designs would be particularly
appropriate for celebrating the short careers of teeny
pop groups, or the success of a national football team in
the World Cup. The shirts themselves could be reprinted
298many times over before they actually wear out.
