Introduce a service in sports and shoe shops offering to
‘break-in’ footwear. A simple hygienic sock could be
worn by the ‘breaker inner’ to protect from athlete’s foot
and the like. Customers could choose their ‘degrees of
wear’ including normal wear and tear, football in the
park or slam dancing. If the breaker inners were suitably
329fashionable, they would also be acting as a walking
advertisement for the shoe while pounding the
pavements.

Design small clips or sticky dots for pub drinkers to use
in order to differentiate their glass from those of other
customers. These distinctive personalised clips would
be detachable so as to serve their purpose throughout
an evening’s drinking.
