Some entertaining videos start out as entertaining commercials, and exhibit the
high production values expected there. Take, for example, Evian’s Roller Babies ads
(www.youtube.com/user/EvianBabies/), like the one in Figure 5.3. These are not
cheap videos shot with a consumer camcorder; these are professional productions,
with cutting edge CGI special effects, repurposed and expanded for YouTube con-
sumption. But they are entertaining!
If done right, then, an entertaining video is great for establishing and maintaining
your brand image. But there’s no guarantee that they’ll work at all; you’ll either suc-
ceed wildly or fail miserably.
