Also, you may consult a doctor of optometry who
specializes in behavioral optometry and vision
therapy. This may include light therapy, specialized
glasses and visual exercises.
Any of the above physicians may refer you to an
Occupational Therapist for cognitive rehabilitation.
Occupational therapy will increase or improve an
individuals capacity to process and use information
in activities of daily living and work function.
Therapy will focus on remediation of an individual’s
cognitive and visual perceptional difficulties.
A Speech Pathologist
can provide speech therapy
and language based cognitive
therapy.
