Discovering America
The Italian traveler Christopher Columbus was born on
August 22, 1451 AD in Genoa, Italy. He received his
studies at the University of Pavia and studied
mathematics and natural sciences, and was a colonialist
at that time as well.
The name of Christopher Columbus was associated
with the name of America because it is thanks to him
that he discovered it during his famous journey in 1492,
and he died on May 20, 1506 AD in Spain after
suffering a health problem and his health deteriorated,
he entered into a long struggle with illness and then
death at the age of nearly 54 years old, and he was
buried without any funeral ceremonies that prevailed at
that time, and his house in Valladolid, where he died,
was converted into a museum.
The traveler Columbus set out on his expedition and
reached the Caribbean islands on October 21, 1492 AD,
and this was the first voyage, while on his second
voyage it was six years after the first voyage, and it was
in the year 1498 AD, and in that year the discovery of
the new world was the American continent. Some
