14. OVER AGED SIGNALING LEVER FRAME REPLACEMENT-SANCTION,
PROGRESS:
Work of replacement of mechanical lever frame with panel interlocking at 2
cabins KZJ MC-1 & MC-2 at KAZIPET is sanctioned in PWP 2016-17 and executing
Dy. CSTE/P/SC.
15. BLANK SIGNALS/UNIT SIGNAL CASES:
The major contributors for signal blank cases and corrective action
taken is enumerated below: -
15.1 DEFECTIVE POWER SUPPLY EQUIPMENT:NIL
15.2 DEFECTIVE CURRENT REGULATOR / ECR RELAY:
In order to arrest failures of current regulators; tight sealing of signal units and
provision of greased glazed graphite rope to prevent entry of water/rodents
and replacement of modified current regulators has been provided.
AC LED’s are provided in place of DC LED to improve reliability.
LED ECRs for all LED signals is provided.
726 nos. of Integrated LEDs are provided so far in 2022-23 (through AAC and
works), cumulative progress is 6575 integrated LEDs.
