2. Achievements (Highlights):

i. Commissioning of Extension of ROH shed at SNF freight depot:
Extension of ROH shed at Sanath nagar depot was
commissioned.

Earlier ROH shed was of 55m length, which is not sufficient to
carry out the ROH attention of one BLC unit consisting of 5

wagons (length of one unit is around 70m). To overcome this
problem, ROH shed has been extended for another 50m so that

ROH attention and Sick attention requiring lifting can also be
undertaken in covered shed.
ii. Commissioning of CNC Surface Wheel Lathe at SNF freight depot:

CNC surface wheel lathe at Sanath nagar depot was
commissioned.

Earlier, the defective wheels were sent to RDM depot & SC for
tyre turning of wheels & UST which was time consuming and

resulting more time in releasing of sick wagons. Availability of
wheels at SNF freight depot has improved after installation of

surface wheel lathe.

iii. Commissioning of Automatic Coach Washing Plant (ACWP) at SC
& HYB depots: Automatic Coach Washing Plants (ACWP) were
commissioned at SC & HYB Coaching depots. The automatic

coach washing plant is able to achieve complete exterior
