COST IMPLICATION:
A SUM OF RS. 20,000 (TWENTY THOUSAND ONLY) USED BY DEPARTMENT, BUT
WHEREAS REPUTED FIRM HAS GIVEN BUDGETARY QUOTATION FOR ABOVE WORK
IS RS. 68,000 + 18% GST (SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND). BY CARRYING OUT ABOVE
WORK BY THE ABOVE STAFF, RAILWAY HAS SAVED RS. 48,000 (FORTY EIGHT
THOUSAND) FOR EACH POWER CAR. THIS DEPOT IS HAVING 40 NOS. OF SUCH
POWER CARS APPROXIMATELY RAILWAY HAVE SAVED RS. 48000 X 40 NOS. OF
POWER CARS IS RS. 19,20,000 (NINETEEN LAKHS TWENTY THOUSAND)
C) To extend the Power supply from the Power car to the Non-
vestibule end connected LHB

06 nos. RSW are provided for Feeder-1&2 and HOG by-pass.
Modification is carried out departmentally on trial in Power car no.
16851 LWRRM which is in service by Train no. 02774 SC-SHM Shalimar
Express without any failures.
D) Ladder for attending failures of RMPU on roof top of the AC coach:
A ladder was built with waste GI
pipes for attending failures of RMPU
on roof top of the AC coach.
The ladder can be shifted within
the shed on its 4 wheels
