EXISTING ARRANGEMENT:-

AAL/BT make VCBs are having air tank with a cap (⅜˝) at the
bottom side for draining.

MODIFIED ARRANGEMENT:-

AAL/BT make VCBs air tank cap(⅜˝) is modified by drilling 5mm
diameter hole and tapping 9mm (suitable for fixing ⅛˝ gauge) up to a

depth of 11mm to fix the pressure gauge with air flow from air tank.

Bottom cover of VCB (AAL only) is modified by enlarging 50mm diameter
hole in to 70mm diameter hole for visibility of pressure settings of pressure
gauge.

WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT:-

1. Remove the bottom cover of VCB (AAL only). Existing 50mm diameter
hole to be enlarged to 70mm.

2. Cap (⅜˝) of air tank to be removed 5mm diameter drilling to be carried
out. Existing Allen key fixing of cap 9mm tapping (suitable for ⅛˝) to be
done up to a depth of 11mm.

3. Cap(⅜˝) edges to be chamfered upto 1mm on both sides which can
be tightened with a 20 Size D-Spanner

4. Pressure gauge (⅛˝) to be fixed to cap tapping end with Teflon.

MATERIAL REQUIRED:- 01No. pressure gauge of suitable make (0-10kg/cm²,
Size ⅛”, dial size 52mm) (SHAVO or any similar make)
