With the help of this test kit we can switch ON the IGBTs of power

module by providing +15v -15v square wave pulse through optical signal
generated by control card. We can check the healthiness of all sub

equipments of Power module such as Gate drive card, child card, IGBTs
etc.

5.Modification of moisture drain arrangement:

Shifting of MCPA reservoir to vertical direction in CCB 2.0 locomotives.

The problem of AC-CV and MR-CV is attributed to entry of

moisture. As per the observation, the MPCA reservoir is having tapping
into the panel at the bottom most point which is causing the condensate

water to enter into panel along with air. As per general principles of
pneumatics, air from the reservoir shall be taken from top and drain

arrangement at the bottom to avoid this problem. At present, 46 locos
are equipped with CCB 2.0 and Shifting of MCPA reservoir to vertical

direction is done in 23 locos.
