HHTs :
Checking of tickets on board by Amenities Ticket checking staff
have been completed been digitalized through Hand Held
Terminals (HHTs) which have now replaced the traditional paper
charts. All trains are now being checked using HHT’s by SC Division
staff.
POS (Point-of-Sale ):
Commercial Department has provided POS machines at all the
ticketing locations.
POS machines have been provided to ticket checking staff for
making digital transaction onboard.
E- Office:
The benefits of implementation of e office.
Enhance transparency – files can be tracked, and their status is known
to all at all times
Increase accountability – the responsibility of quality and speed of
decision making is easier to monitor.
Assure data security and data integrity.
Provide a platform for re-inventing and re-engineering the
Government.

PMS E-forwarding note:
New Module of E Forwarding note has been introduced in PMS and
Parcel customers are encouraged to opt E forwarding note as it eases
the booking process and also reduces Railway burden for verification
of credentials of the customer.
