1.6.1 MAINTENANCE OF SERVICE / RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS
Maintenance of service & residential buildings is one of the key areas of
attention. The following good maintenance practices have been adopted in

the division:

Maintenance of service & residential buildings is one of the key areas of
attention. The following good maintenance practices have been adopted in

the division:

 Planning, inspection and maintenance of service buildings and staff
quarters under DBM (Directed Building Maintenance)

 Maintenance of sanitary and hygienic conditions in station buildings,
Yards and Railway colonies.

 Colony inspection meetings are being held regularly and minutes of
the meeting are attended to, promptly.

 Rag picking work is being done in MMTS stations i.e. between LPI to SC
and MLY, CHZ-PGDP and KZJ yard.


