Art Installation Unveiled
Celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM - 75 years of Indian
Independence), a huge painting installation measuring 30ft. X 12
ft. was unveiled at Chennai Airport Domestic Terminal.
The painting depicting the rich cultural expanse of our country/
state also dwell enough into its glorious past, riveting present
and promising future. The painting took nearly 15 days to
complete and was conceived and executed by students of an Art
College in Chennai.
Rupsi Airport Celebrates its First Anniversary
One of the success stories under Regional Connectivity Scheme-
UDAN, the redevelopment of Rupsi Airport in Assam celebrated
its 1st anniversary on 08th May 2022. With
direct flights to Guwahati and Kolkata,
the airport has catered to nearly 27K
passengers through 744 flights in one
year. On the occasion the passengers
were greeted with flowers and chocolates
