PROPERTIES
GEATEN AF is a high performance fixation agent for anionic dyestuff.
Developed from high quality components, it is recommended for the
fixation and intensification of anionic dyestuff. Its cationic properties
reacts with the leather surface, enhancing the reaction and affinity
with the dyestuff. It is recommended to use GEATEN AF in the
dyestuff topping applications. It is applied in a new float, 30 minutes
before the addition of the dyestuff, in percentages from 2 to 3% over
the shaved weight. Because it intensifies and gives very glossy
dyeing, GEATEN AF is highly recommended as a strong fixation agent
and inhibitor of dyestuff migration when exposed to sweat and water.
