PROPERTIES
GEATEN DSP is a slip agent which reduces friction between the skins
avoiding winding and nodes formation into the drum, contributing in
this way to reduce losses by tearing. The usage of GEATEN DSP for
liming and tanning processes does not cause any damage to the grain,
while leaving the pores wide and open. GEATEN DSP provides an
uniform dispersion of the auxiliaries added on the successive stages
such as liming, tanning, retanning, dyeing and fatliquoring. Its usage
amount is indicated at 0.1% to 0.4% in liming and tanning and 0.1%
in retaning, dyeing and fatliquoring.
