PROPERTIES
GEATEN ANT is an anionic surfactant that acts in the solubiliza on of
greases present in the different stages of leather produc on. Its
degreasing and emulsifying proper es act both in the soaking and
liming processes, as well as in the rehydra on/rewe ng of wet blue
leathers. GEATEN ANT is also highly recommended to produce
vegetable leather, ac ng both as a degreaser for natural fat, as well
as assis ng in the emulsion of oils offered in the fatliquoring stages.
When soaking and fatliquoring, it is recommended to add 0.3 to
0.5% depending on the type of leather and level of natural fat. As an
auxiliary vehicle for fatliquoring vegetable leather, it is
recommended to offer 0.1% to 0.2% of the pelt weight or 0.4 to
0.6% of the shaved weight.
