PROPERTIES
GEATAN MI is acacia stratified tannin. It presents light color and is highly
soluble in water. In vegetable tanning enables a fast process due to an
optimal penetration, resulting a final article of light color. In chrome
leathers retanning provides filling and good buffing capacity. It is
adequate for tanning and retanning in any formulation and system
(drum, vat or paddle). .
Application: In pre-tanning (5 to 10%), and soles tanning (40 to 45%),
vegetable leather (30 to 40%) and half soles (35 to 40%). In retanning all
kinds of leather (5 to 20%).
