Quercus mongolica
Plant introduction:
A kind of deciduous arbor, up to 30 meters high, with
grayish brown bark, and deeply longitudinally split. The
crown is oval.
Quantity and distribution:
BBAC has two Quercus mongolica trees, which are
planted in MRA plant area.
Significance and role:
Quercus mongolica is an excellent tree species for
building windbreak forest, water conservation forest
and fire prevention forest.
