Plant introduction: Clove
Clove trees are deciduous shrubs or small trees of
Oleaceae. It requires light, warm, moist and sunny. It
is slightly tolerant to shade, weak growth in shade or
semi-shade, and with few flowers.
Significance and role:
Small fragrant flowers, white, purple, purplish red
or blue; many small flowers form a huge conical
inflorescence, which is full of the whole branches
and leaves. It has a strong fragrance and is of great
ornamental value. Clove trees can also build shelter
forests to prevent wind, fix sand and conserve water
and soil.
Quantity and distribution:
BBAC plants more than 760 clove trees, which are
planted all over the plant area.
