Arbor Chapter

Weeping willow

Plant introduction:
As arbor, willow belong to wide ecological range plants, which
have wide adaptability to the environment. They require light,

humidity and cold. They are mesophytic wet tree species.
However, some species are also drought resistant and saline
alkali resistant. They can grow in places with poor ecological
conditions and grow better in plain fertile fields with superior

site conditions. The general life span is 20-30 years, and a few
species can reach more than 100 years. It has a long growth
period in a year, with early germination and late defoliation.
