KAEDEN AMERINE
Kaeden Amerine has proven his skills on a supercross style track on multiple occasions throughout his amateur career, most notably at the 2017 Monster Energy Cup where he placed second in the Supermini division. The Kansas native looked right at home once the racing got underway at the Daytona RCSX, utilizing his SX skills in order to finish on the podium in three out of four motos. The Rides Unlimited
| BTO Sports backed rider’s best overall result from the weekend came in the Supermini 2 class where he took second position in his heat race and second position in the main event, counting on consistent starts and speed to get the job done. Amerine has impec- cable starting technique and often puts himself in the right position at the beginning of the race, mak-
ing it easy to finish at the front of the pack. The Rides Unlimited | BTO Sports Amateur Racing rider moved onto Underground MX for the inaugural Spring A Ding Ding, continuing his podium streak by placing third overall in the Super- mini 2 division.
JOSH VARIZE
Josh Varize had a couple of excep- tional performances in the Super- mini classes at the 2018 Daytona RCSX. The Orange Brigade KTM rider finished in the top five in three out of four motos and competed in the Schoolboy 1 class aboard his supermini as well. His best moto finish came in the Supermini 1 heat race where he scored a second place finish, but a poor start in
the main event would affect his overall result. Nonetheless, Varize bounced back in the Supermini 2 class and improved his finish in the main event to third place, locking down a podium finish before head- ing to Freestone for the JS7 Spring Championship. The Californian didn’t match the same success that he found in Florida, but he still laid down some solid performances in a stacked Supermini 1 division, earn- ing a pair of sixth place finishes which awarded him with sixth place overall.
