COLE SEELY
IMAGE/JACKEDWARDS
California native and local to Glen Helen, Cole Seely thrives in the southern sunshine and is coming off
an impressive 6th place finish in Hangtown last weekend. He had a better first moto in earning a 5th but a 10th place finish in moto two was consistent enough to secure the solid points he was able to earn. Looking back, ever since rising to 250 contention status by battling with Roczen and Tomac for the 2013 West
Coast SX championship or finishing 2nd in the same series the very next year in 2014, Seely has been in impressive addition to the 450 class. He placed 3rd as a rookie in supercross with a 16th in the 2015 Outdoor series standings; only strengthening the fact that Supercross would appear to be his strength. Still, he has continuously put his bike up front and made his presence known, even if only once in a while. Now in his sophomore season, Seely has already begun to close the gap with his recent success at the opening round. Carrying the momentum into round two, Seely aimed to stay off the ground and put the Factory Honda even closer to the leaders on top of the bumpy and broken So-Cal soil.
