amateur circuit, sprinted early, leaving Cochran and Allen to work their way around Mark Fineis for second and third, respectively. Bennick was nearly dragging his clutch lever into the ground, breaking the Florida limestone with his bare hands. He wanted this extremely bad; it showed, holding off the charge of Casey Cochran in the latter moments of the moto. Allen, would work his way up from fifth to third, and seek the limelight as the second moto rolled around. With the track becoming extremely rough, Allen seemed to thrive. Although fourth on the opening lap, his cat-like decision making skills paid off tremendously; as he was weaving in and out of riders such as Mark Fineis and Daxton Bennick. Meanwhile, the Cobra ride of Culloden, Georgia’s Casey Cochran, encountered a serious issue, while leading the moto early on. Therefore, one of the biggest players in the equation was now out. It was then Allen’s lead for the taking, and it was up to him whether or not to run with it. That he did, sprinting to the finish, knowing the gold medal, piece of hardware, and mounds of recognition were just around the corner. Crossing the finish, his team ran to his side, hugging and cheering. They couldn’t have been more proud of their racer. He’d done it, and could truly call himself, the best rider in the 65 (10-11) Limited division.
