Le Francais sournois, or the sneaky Frenchman, Marvin Musquin, is one of a handful of fast ‘Frenchies’
to sneak out of Southwestern France and make a splash on the American Motocross scene. The big
three are Bayle, Vuillemin, and Musquin, all of whom have been a big threat to the American throne.
The 2015 SX Lites East Champ, Marvin’s arrival in the 450 class was postponed due to a string of injuries. His English hasn’t always been great, but his riding has always been fluent in any language. I mean, zut he’s smooth! And this year he’s better than ever on the podium and on the bike. Plus he’s training with the champ too?? Chasing Dungey around the Baker Factory clearly has does wonders for both Marvin’s speed and fitness on the track. In Atlanta, the ‘student’ became the leader. There’s is NOTHING you can say to deny the fact that Musquin straight up beat Dungey for the majority of the race. And if Stewart wouldn’t have ruined everything, no doubt Marvin probably would’ve held on for the win. The two time World Champion sailed across the seas for two reasons; to win a Supercross Championship and eat cheeseburgers. And Aldon won’t let him eat cheeseburgers. Like a true ‘Royale with Cheese’, he’s got everything to reach the top of the menu; the team, the trainer, the wife, and the speed. Only thing left is the special sauce needed to win in the most competitive motocross championship in the world.
