STORYTELLING
Part 1 Hay una nina. ¿Hay un nino o hay una nina? La
nina tiene frí o. ¿la nina tiene frí o o la nina no tiene frí o?
La nina no tiene chaqueta. ¿Clase, la nina tiene o no tiene chaqueta?
Brrrrr. Hay otros ninos. Los otros ninos tienen chaquetas. ¿Clase, los
otros ninos tienen o no tienen chaqueta? La nina no tiene una cha- VOCABULARY
queta. La nina dice: “Papa, papa, yo quiero una chaqueta.” El papa
dice: “Vamos a Target.” ¿El papa, dice, vamos a target o vamos a Wal-
mart? El papa y la nina van en autobus a Target. ¿Van en taxi? ¿Van
en autobus? ¿Van en carro? En Target, hay muchas chaquetas.
¿Target tiene o no tiene chaquetas? La nina agarra una chaqueta rosa-
da y no tiene frí o. ¿La nina agarra chaqueta azul o rosada? La tiene
esta feliz. Tiene una chaqueta!

GAME
Play bop
Use the class picture cards
Have the class stand up in a large circle
Each student gets a card and holds the card out so VOCABULARY
everyone can see it
One person, the “bopper” stands in the middle of the circle holding an animal. The
“boppers” job is to hit the card that is being said
One student starts the game by saying any card they see. For example, they say, “El
gato” then the person holding the gato, has to say another card in the circle before
getting hit by the bopper.
If the bopper kits the card If they get hit before saying another word,
they become the bopper.

6 CLOSING PREP
Sit in a circle and sing, “adiós clase ” song
Have each kid say, “nos vemos” to you as you say goodbye.
Give kids a high five!
Adiós Emma, adiós Riley, adiós Jackson . . . Nos vemos muy, muy pron- REMINDER
to. Adiós Jenna, adiós Nora, adiós Profe Dunn, nos vemos muy, muy
pronto . . .
